Emaar Properties is a UAE real estate developer. It was founded in 1997 by Mohamed Alabbar, who later also founded Eagle Hills and Noon.com. The company has been listed on the Dubai Financial Market (ticker: EMAAR) since 2000.

Emaar's projects include Downtown Dubai, the master community built around Burj Khalifa, which opened in 2010, and The Dubai Mall. It also developed Dubai Marina and earlier communities such as Arabian Ranches, The Greens, The Meadows, The Lakes and The Springs. Today it develops Dubai Hills Estate (a joint venture with Meraas) and Dubai Creek Harbour, which it fully acquired from Dubai Holding in 2022 for AED 7.5 billion.

In May 2026 Dubai Holding became Emaar's largest shareholder, with 29.73%, after acquiring the stake previously held by the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
