How we use data
- Every item shows its source and the date of its last update.
- Anything estimated is labelled “estimate”. Walking and driving times are straight-line distance multiplied by a route factor (1.3 for walking at 80 m/min, 1.4 for driving at 30 km/h). They are not routes.
- If the data for an area or a category is missing, out of date or fails a plausibility check, that section is hidden instead of guessed.
- We do not publish our own opinion or invented rankings. “Best” is used only where an official rating exists (for schools, KHDA’s rating).
- Names of metro and tram stations in Persian and Turkish are curated by Golden Hills; other places use the English name with a translated category label.
- Map data is volunteer-made and its coverage varies: bus stops, pharmacies and clinics are the least complete. A place that is missing here may still exist.
- Hand-checked records are locked and are never overwritten by automatic updates. Places that disappear from a source are closed only after two consecutive updates.

Not used yet: Dubai government open data (data.dubai). We only use it after reading and accepting the Open Data Licence.
