There are so many things to consider when moving into a new home that it can be both an exciting and stressful experience. There will be a few hiccups during the handover and snagging process, despite what others may tell you.

GoldenHills Properties offers in-house snagging and handover inspections to relieve purchasers of this burdensome procedure.

Our well-trained and competent experts will identify all concerns impacting the property, photograph them, and provide a complete snagging list so that the relevant party can rectify any issue inside the property. 

We will ensure that at the end of the day, all our clients need to do is receive the keys to their home and move in!

INSPECTION

We will be conducting a thorough inspection inside and outside the apartment

  • All the doors including locks, stoppers and handles to ensure all are functioning.
  • Window frames including locks, sliders, screens, paint, and function.
  • Overall paint of the walls for any damages and imperfections.
  • Complete tiling and grouting of the floors (if applicable).
  • Any tool marks and scratches on the entire property.
  • Lighting including switches and function.
  • Uneven surfaces, levels, paint, and finishes.
  • Walk-in closets, drawers, cabinets, and cupboards for any damages, scratches, and function.
  • Spillage of paint onto any other part of the property
  • Plumbing fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom for any damage
  • All electrical connections and appliances (if any) for function
  • Cracks, chips, stains, and uneven surfaces
  • Roofing and waterproofing

The snagging and handover process

  • One of our certified and qualified team members will oversee the handover procedure with the developer.
  • Our clients will receive a full and detailed written report after the inspection of the property.
  • Continuous follow-up with the developer regarding the rectification of any damages inside the property.
  • Final evaluation of the property to determine its overall condition.
  • Confirmation of warranty period on the property.
  • Handover and key collection.
